Arrival Day :- Reception at Calicut Airport / Railway Staion and Drive to Wayanad, Set at an altitude of 700 - 2100 m above sea level, Wayanad is one of the districts in Kerala that has been able to retain its pristine nature. on arrival at Vyttri / Kalpetta, you are cordially led into the leisure of the hotel room. You are free for the evening or can visit Lakkidi – the Gateway of Waynad (700 Mts MSL), Pookot lake-3 km south of Vythiri. The enduring fresh water lake nestled among wooded hills. You have an overnight stay at the coziness of the hotel room with much anticipated sweet expectations of the beautiful landscape waiting in store for you
Day 02 :- - Visit to Muthangha wild sanctuary, Banasura Dam & Soochippara Water falls, o/n at Pepper grove, KTDC
Day 03 :- Edakkal caves, Manathavadi kurva islad is 995 green forest on the tributeriesof east flowing river Kabani. The island is an unoccupied and a paradise with Myriad Birds, o/n at Pepper grove, KTDC
Day 04 :- Proceed to Coorg .Delighted with the mesmerizing sight of hills, caves hiding some secrets of the past, lakes reflecting the surrounding lustrous forests, small streams and miniature water falls caressing the hills and dales. Check in Hotel/ resort. tour of coffee plantations, orange orcahrds and paddy field and arrive in Mercara. Madikeri or Mercara is the main town of Coorg and is also a well known hill station. Some of the important places to visit around Madikeri are Raja seat-a well maintained garden with a great views of hills.
Day 05:- 9 am - move to Talcauvry (the source of the River Cauvery) and Bhagamandala (the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river). Followed by visit the ancient temple and a shopping at Madikeri - Honey, coffee and spices as souvenirs of your travel to Coorg. Tribute to Gandhi Mantap - memorial to the father of the nation built at the site where Mahatma Gandhi sat and addressed the people of Madikeri during his visit to Coorg in 1932. o/n stay.
Day 06:- 9 am – move to Omkareshwara Temple and enjoy the scenic beauty at leisure in this spectacular hill retreat of Coorg. Proceed to the Rajiv Gandhi National Park at Nagarhole and enjoy the same screening throughout the day. Wildlife- Try your luck spotting the ferocious tiger. o/n at Hotel/ Resort.
Day 07:- Mysore - Coorg - Madikeri (125 km/3hrs)Morning breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Coorg, enroute visit Cauvery Nisargadhama - Nisargadhama teems with lush foliage, thick bamboo groves, teak, and rosewood. On arrival check in to a hotel and proceed for buffet lunch. Relax or go for a plantation walk. Overnight.
Day 08:- Bangalore - Mysore (138 Kms / 3hrs) Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Mysore, enroute visit Srirangapatna-Tippu’s Summer Palace, etc. On arrival check into a hotel. Lunch, proceed to visit St. Philomena’s church- this imposing Gothic structure with beautiful stained glass windows and lofty towers is a must see and in the evening visit to world famous Brindavan Garden- the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam after sundown, when musical fountains and colored lights transform this place into a magical fairyland and return back to hotel and overnight.
